welcome to woodenships landing
last updated: 1/5/10

On Olympia Peninsula, Washington ( map 47°15'33"N / 122°55'45"W ) across Puget Sound from Tacoma, we call this property "Woodenships Landing ". Welcome . . . stay a while.

Bobbie is working on the third edition of the "Pocket Guide to Low Sodium Foods", due out early next year and like her other two books, nationally distributed by the Independent Publishers Group - books sold to date: 65,000. Her day job is with the State of Washington Department of Licensing where she is building their web site - in particular, their on-line forms pages. She has less than a year to be eligible to receive her state retirement pension.

Mike on the other hand has recently gotten his Washington State Real Estate license and is preparing to apply his 25 years of computer experience to the Mason County real estate market. It should only take six months to build a quarterly newsletter (The Mason Sounder), the database of addresses to send the newsletter to and the web site/Facebook/Twitter effort to support it. More on that when The Mason Sounder goes public in June. When time permits, Mike still is building more sea kayaks and is restoring a 1960 Ford Panel truck into a "bitchin" kayaking camper.

On the schedule this summer are concerts - the Wailers, Bob Weir & Rat Dogs in Seattle and Phish / Dave Mathews at The Gorge. We missed Paul McCartney at The Gorge - $120 per lawn ticket / $230 if you want a seat? Who does he think he is - a Beatle.

Stay tuned - 2010 is looking like a big year.
